Crazy Formatting (11.18.2013)

First off, sorry this letter is so weirdly formatted. I started half of it in here and then the other half in Word after I got your e-mail. Anyways, I did get the black shoes and they fit and work just great. I don’t want a brown pair just like them, but something similar would be great. I haven’t gotten contacts yet. That will probably have to be next Monday. The remodeling sounds like it has been a lot of fun! Hahaha I can just picture all of the water gushing out and it makes me smile J Your 3 trips to Lowes just makes me cringe at all the miles haha. Those are so precious here, but I guess you don’t really have to worry about that! Lucky ducks J As for my bed size…either one really works. Fulls are nice, but I’m pretty used to twins now with school and mission life. Whichever is better for you! Speaking of until I’m finished with college…yeah…so that might be a while! I’m thinking about Med school! Crazy?? The more I’ve thought about it (which isn’t a ton because I’m kinda focused on other things) the more it just feels right. We’ll see though! I’ve got plenty of time to figure that out.
I’m glad that primary is going well. We just had the Primary Program in our ward yesterday and I played the piano for that. Those kids are crazy, but they are so adorable J They really love singing Soy de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias. They pretty much just shout it the entire time and it is awesome.
I just love that you will be feeding the missionaries. It seriously just makes me so happy! Tell them hi from me and to keep up the good work! I meet a guy at a fireside last night who leaves in two weeks for his mission to Ukraine! Crazy. But he thanked me for the work that we do and it felt awesome so I want to pass on my thanks and what better way to do that than by thanking the missionaries serving in my home ward. And one of them is from Arizona! Even cooler. Where is the other one from? You can handle 9:00 church and ward council haha. That’s what we have and we have Ward Council at 7:45 J Bright and early!
This week was good. It definitely had some challenging times, but it was filled with a lot of good as well. One of the biggest things I know is that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children. He cares about them, watches out for them, and is mindful of their needs. I see that in my own life, but I see it even greater, and perhaps learn from it even more, as I see it in the lives of others. We plan out every hour of our day, every single day. We confirm those plans through prayer every night. We follow those plans when we can, but we follow the Spirit. He changed our plans a few times this week and it was pretty amazing. He changed them because His children had a need and He put us there to fill it. I felt so blessed to witness it and to be a part of it!

We had transfers on Wednesday and our district got moved to yet another zone. This time we are part of  a newly formed zone! So that's at least pretty cool. This transfer is only 5 weeks instead of 6 because otherwise transfers would fall on Christmas day and that wouldn't really be good for anyone. So I'll be with Sister Bukoskie for at least 4 more weeks! Which is a good thing :)

We didn't get moved yet. Our house is still being working on and no one needed to moved into where we currently are so we are still living pretty far out of our area. That was especially unfortunate the day we went to do service. We were finished and we went to the QT to change back into our proselything clothes. That's when I realized I had forgotten my shoes. Silly, silly me. So we had to drive ALL THE WAY BACK HOME! Its safe to say that we used a TON of miles that day. Whoops.

On Saturday Miguel Lopez was baptized. He was one of the other sisters' investigators. He is Erika's husband and she was one of the big family who was baptized in July :) She looked so happy! AND Jesus Carrillo (his brother-in-law and one of the other ones who was baptized in July) performed the baptized. That made me so happy to see! And then Francisco (who was baptized in September) baptized the Sacrament yesterday for the first time and it was so great. So many happy things going on :)

In other exciting news, our investigator Johnathan had his baptismal interview yesterday and passed and will be baptized this coming Sunday morning. He is so awesome! He has been trying really hard on not drinking coffee and has been doing so well. He hasn't had a cup in over a week when he used to have one every morning! He told us that he has been trying really hard so that he can be baptized :) The gospel changes lives!

Nothing really else much to report. I'm happy. I'm learning and growing everyday. Things are difficult, but I'm relying on the Lord and building my relationship with Him. He loves me. He loves you. He loves all of us. I know that. My testimony is strong. I know that this gospel is true, that it is His. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I continue to seek and ask for a stronger testimony and as I do that, I have the opportunity to share it with others each and everyday and to help them gain one too. To help them have in their lives the same happiness that I have. I feel so blessed. I love you Mom and I am grateful for all that you and Dad do for me. I love each and everyone of my amazing siblings and there spouses and their kids. I have the best family that there is and I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you in my life and for all that you do for me and for the love that you have for me. Oh wow. Was that sappy enough?? I mean it though! I hope this next week is awesome for all of you. Remember Moroni 8:3!

Con amor,
