The member we ate breakfast with (we eat with them every Monday) looked up the weather where we were all from and he said it was 56 degrees this morning in Lacey so you are right, I will definitely be cold for a while when I get home. Your anniversary sounds like it was good. Did Dad enjoy the car museum. Where is it? In Tacoma? What part of California are Becca and Aaron going too? Is it their 7th anniversary? That’s crazy.
Travel plans…yes to meeting up at the mission office
Tuesday morning. As for the Phoenix open house…I’m pretty sure you can just go
online and get tickets. They aren’t available until the 29th of
September. And if it’s anything like the Gilbert open house, you can still go
even if you don’t have a ticket. Whether we come home Friday or Saturday doesn’t
really matter. Non-stop on Friday would be fine. Then just ask President Coppin
which day would be best/easiest to release me. L Any way all of the family can be at home for
that weekend?? J Tell Dad I got the gift cards to Panda Express, Chipotle, and Menchies
that came in the package Jenn sent, but I haven’t gotten anything else. If it’s
something different, it should come this week.
This week was good. There isn’t really a ton to say.
The highlight was definitely Elder Robbins. We had a meeting with him on
Saturday morning. It was our MLC and Tempe’s MLC….side note: I’m glad I ended
up in the Gilbert mission. :) He was amazing and he answered a lot of the questions I have been having
lately. I took about 6 pages of notes. I can’t wait to be able to really tell
you all the stuff he taught us. But basically, always take 100% responsibility!
Things are good and I am happy and trying to work my
hardest. I love it here and the closer it comes the less I want to leave and
the less real it seems. One of the missionaries who was serving from our ward
just got home this week and gave his homecoming talk. So weird.
I hope all is well with you. I love you! Moroni 8:3
Con amor,
