My week has gone
well and I am very excited for my birthday month. :) I didn’t hear you singing,
but thank you anyway! The party sounds like it was a lot of fun! I can’t wait
to see pictures. I’m sad that grandpa’s letter didn’t get there in time! I did
send it to WA because I didn’t have his address in UT. Can you forward it on to
him please? The shower also sounds like it was lovely. I can’t believe the
wedding is so soon! That is so exciting. It’s a little hard to think of all of
it going on and not being there, but it is what it is and I am so happy for
them! I’m sure it will be a beautiful day and I will be there in spirit. :)
Friday we went to
a meeting in Mesa for the Easter Pageant! Turns out, this year they are
inviting the sisters from the surrounding missions to help out too! It’s one of
the few times they’ve done that. We get to help out at the Spanish night and
one of the other nights. I’m so excited! After the meeting, we walked around
where the stage is and all the chairs are set up and it looks like it is going
to be really good.
We taught our new
investigator, Rossy, 3 times this week. She wanted us to keep coming back! She
is one of the most spiritually in-tune 8-year-olds I’ve ever met and she is
just so adorable! Her older sister Naty is doing well too! She’s been reading
the Book of Mormon and she got so excited when she read 1 Nephi 8. It was her
favorite. She said it really applied to her. And this past summer at girls camp
they did the Iron Rod activity so she understood it. That family is so great. I
wasn’t there because of exchanges, but we had a really good lesson with the
parents, Concha and Rene too. They are all amazing!
And then came
conference and I just never wanted it to end! It was an answer to a lot of my
prayers and 3 of my specific questions I wrote down. Another testament to me of
my Father’s love for me. I just can’t
wait until the Ensign comes out and I get to read them again and again. It’s my
favorite. J
What were your favorite talks? What are you studying in Preach My Gospel?? :) I hope you were able
to feel Heavenly Father’s love too as you watched it! I went through the choir
performances in the Priesthood session online right now and I found Ben! So
cool. J
My brother sang at conference! Is he wearing the same time he wore in his
engagement photos? I would like to sing in the conference center one day. That
would be amazing.
Anyways, that was my wonderful week. It just keeps
getting better and better, even in hard times. There is so much to be grateful
for! Thank you for all that you do for
me. Have a wonderful weekend of celebration and wedding fun and remember to
enjoy the moment. :)
